發展迅速的金屬樂隊
舊主唱離隊的衝擊
在2010年11月推出第二張個人專輯《Into The Great Beyond》後約半年，當時的主音向外宣佈退出樂隊。當時CRYSTAL LAKE已組成8年，發展及成績也相當不錯，主音的退出引起了不少話題，很多樂迷亦感到可惜，擔心即使找來新主音亦會失去樂隊原本的味道。在公開招募主音後的2012年年初，當時的鼓手亦宣布離隊，當樂迷也對樂隊的命運感到擔憂時，他們向外宣佈新的主音，即現時的主唱Ryo加入，亦找來鼓手Gaku Taura作支援，暫以四人的姿態重新岀發，於2012年首次以四人陣容推岀推岀單曲《The Fire Inside/ Overcome》。
從新岀發的卓越成績
年輕的新主唱加入後，現在的四人陣容並不比以往的五人陣容遜色。2013年對他們來說可說是另一個發展的高峰期，他們與來自美國的Emmure在日本進行「Sumerian Tour 2013」巡演，與來自美國的Born of Osiris、Upon A Burning Body及同樣也是日本的重型金屬樂隊Her Name In Blood同場演出，後來更參與很多日本著名樂隊Coldrain、Crossfaith、Before My Life Fails、SiM、Totalfat及Her Name In Blood等的巡演，成績可見十分卓越。2014年他們推出了EP《CUBES》，亦繼續於日本不同地區進行演出，除了參與了日本大型音樂會「Scream Out Fest」丶「Redline BEGINNING Tour 2014」及於「Monster Energy Outburn Tour 2014」札幌場與Coldrain、Crossfaith及來自美國的Miss May I同場演出，他們更於9月參與Crossfaith、來自美國的We Came As Romans及來自英國的While She Sleeps進行名為「ACROSS THE FUTURE」的巡演。

Introduction to CRYSTAL LAKE- A Japan Metal Hardcore Band
Soon after the release of their second album Into The Great Beyond in November 2010, the former vocalist of the band declared to leave the band in June 2011 which had aroused a lot of attention in the scene at that time. Although they then started to officially recruit a new vocalist, their listeners were worried that they would lose their original taste. Even worse their former drummer announced to quit the band in 2012 which had made people become more and more anxious about the future of this renowned band in the indie scene. It was that time when they then finally announced that a new vocalist , Ryo (which is the current vocalist), was to join the band and Gaku Taura would start performing with them as a new support drummer. They were then ready to start again and released a single The Fire Inside/ Overcome in 2012 with this new lineup.
After the joining of the new and young vocalist Ryo, they are not inferior to the old lineup and did not disappoint most of their fans. 2013 and 2014 were also another big year for them when they toured with Emmure, an America metal band and performed along with three other metal bands - Born of Osiris and Upon A Burning Body from America and Her Name in Blood from Japan. Afterwards they supported tours with many famous Japanese bands like Coldrain, Crossfaith, Before My Life Fails, SiM, Totalfat and Her Name In Blood e.t.c. The band gained fans again, hitting different Japan large-scale music shows like ‘Scream Out Fest’, ’Redline BEGINNING Tour 2014’ and ‘Monster Energy Outburn Tour 2014’ and performing along with Coldrain, Crossfaith and Miss May I from America. Moreover, they released a new EP CUBES in August and joined ‘ACROSS THE FUTURE’ tour to play along with two American bands Crossfaith and We Came As Romans and and English band While She Sleeps in September.
